AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from "C" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 3, 4, 5 of Steyaert and Gryp Addition
including Lot 272 of Part of Northwest 3rd
Plat and Lots 1 and 2 of Tzitonok's Sub. being
generally described as the northeast and south-
west corners of Bryan and Sherman.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and
legal publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from gC" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District Lots 3, 4, 5 of Steyaert and Gryp Addition
including Lot 272 of Part of Northwest 3rd Plat and Lots
1 and 2 of Tzitonok's Sub. being generally described as
the northeast and southwest corners of Bryan and Sherman
was legally advertised under date of March 25, 1963 and
given public hearing on April 4, 1963. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the subject property
would be "A" Residential. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
