IN TM CITY OF SCUM BEND, IAuIAlU
BE IT CRDAI17SD by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana;
SECTION I. That the following described real estate in the City of
South Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
A tract of land situated in the Forth Half of Section 31,
Township 37 North, Range 3 Bast, described as beginning at
a point on the West line of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section 31, 250 feet South of the Northwest corner of said
Northeast Quarter; thence "East 215 feet; thence South 150
feet; thence West 50 feet; thence South 1890 feet along a
line parallel and 165 feet East of the West line of said
Northeast Quarter Section; thence West 775 feet; thence
North 152.5 feet; thence West 735 feet more or less to the
East line of Crest Manor Subdivision's 3rd Addition; thence
North along the East line of said Subdivision 900 feet;
thence East 1345 feet more or less to the nest line of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range
3 East; thence A;orth along the West line of said Quarter
Section 987.5 feet to the place of beginning,
be and the same is hereby zoned "A" Residential Use District and "All Height and Area.
SECTICK II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, approval
by the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and legal publication.

The attached petition of Crest Manor Corporation to zone
"A" Residential and AA" Height and Area District the
recently annexed land being generally described as a
tract of land situated in the north half of Section 31,
T37N, R3E, south of Jackson Road between Miami Road and
Ironwood Drive and being bounded on the north and east
by the present city limits was legally advertised under
date of March 25, 1963 and given public hearing on
April 4, 1963. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the requested zoning would be the best
zoning Cdr the subject property. It was
therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended favorably
to the Council.
