AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use District and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and
Area District:
Lots 1 -166 inclusive of West Haven Addition, also
Lots 133 -163 inclusive of Part of Brentwood Estates
2nd Addition, including lots 87 -109 of Pt, of Brentwood
Estates 1st Addition Section B, also Lots 1 -39 of
Brentwood Estates lst Addition Section A. including
that unplated Section of West Haven Addition, the
aforesaid being bounded on the west by Woodland Ave.,
on the north by Elwood Avenue, on the south by Ardmore
Trail and on the east by Sheridan Avenue, with the
exception of Lots 32 -39 inclusive of Brentwood Estates
1st Addition Section A and Lot 141 of Brentwood
Estates 2nd Addition which are bounded on the w3st by
Sheridan Avenue.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication

Gentlemen:
ROBERT L. HUFF
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use District and "B" Height
and Area District to "A" Residential Use District and
"A" Height and Area District the property generally
described as being bounded on the west by Woodland Ave.,
on the north by Elwood Avenue, on the south by Ardmore
Trail and on the east by Sheridan Avenue, plus Lots
32 -39 inclusive and lot 141 which are bounded on the
west by Sheridan Avenue was legally advertised under
date of January 28, 1963 and given public hearing on
February 7, 1963. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the subject property
would be "A" Residential. It was therefore,
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
