AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTINl
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "C" Commercial Use District and "D" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and
Area District:
Lot 107 and the west 152.75 feet of Lots 108, 110 of
Jackson Proposed and Lots 1, 2, and 3 Flary's Sub.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission
to rezone from "C" Commercial Use and "D" :Height and
Area District to "A" Residential Use District and "A"
Height and Area District the property being generally
described as the east side of Olive Street between
Lathrop Street and Pershing Street was legally advertised
under date of January 28, 1963 and given public hearing
on February 7, 1963. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that
the best zoning for subject property would be
residential. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the Council.
