ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEINENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 37021 AS HEACTOPO'RE,
AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended
and supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and
supplemented by zoning as "A" Residential Use District
and "A" Height and Area District the following described
property:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline
of Hickory Road and the north right-of -way line
of Bulla .Street extended east, thence south along
the centerline of Hickory Road to the centerline
of Edison Road the present city limits, thence
west along the centerline of Edison Road a distance
of 595 feet, more or less, to the west boundary
line of Edison Road Addition, also the present city
limits, thence north along the west boundary line
of Edison Road Addition to the north right- of�way
line of Bulla Street, thence east along the north
right -of -way line of Bulla Street to the place of
beginning, containing 9.5 acres, more or less.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission
to zone "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and
Area District the recently annexed land being generally
described as being bounded on the east by the centerline
of Hickory,!.Road, on the south by the north line of
Bulls. Road and on the west and north by the present
city limits was legally advertised under date of November
26, 1962 and given public hearing on December 6, 1962.
The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that
the best zoning for the property would be residential.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended favorably
to the Cemncil.
