AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COP24ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following
described property from "C" Commercial Use and "D" Height
and Area District to "A" Residential Use District and
"A" Height and Area District:
Lots 530 -533 inclusive and Lots 550 -555 inclusive
and Lots 572 -574 inclusive of Part of 3rd Plat of
Summit Place plus Lots 182 -188 inclusive of Realty
Construction Co's 2nd Addition beii}g generally
described as the west side of Olive Street from the
first east -west alley north of Poland Street, south
to Fisher Street and the east side of Olive Street
from Dunham Street south to the railroad tracks.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and
legal publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from IICII Commercial Use and 'ID" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as the west
side of Olive Street from the first east -west alley
north of Poland Street, south to Fisher Street and the
east side of Olive Street from Dunham Street south to
the railroad tracks was legally advertised under date
of October 22, 1962 and given public hearing on November
11 1962. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the subject property
would be residential. It was therefore duly
moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that
the petition be recommended favorably to the
Council.
