AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following
described property from "C" Commercial Use and "D" Height
and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height
and Area District:
Lots Number 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 of Wilson's
Sub of Part of B.O,L. 100,101 and 102 including
Lots Number 9, 10, 11 and Lots 13 -20 inclusive of
J. B. Arnold's Sub of Part of B.O.L. 100 and 101,
including Lots 9, 10,. 11, and lots 13 =20 inclusive
of Honer's Sub. of Part of B.O.L. 101, being
generally described as both sides of Walnut Street
from Ford Street south to the first east -west
alley north of Dunham Street.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and
legal publication.

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "C" Commercial Use and "D" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District both sides of Walnut Street from Ford Street
south to the first east -west alley north of Dunham was
legally advertised under date of October 22, 1962 and
given public hearing on November 1, 1962, The following
action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for subject property would
be residential. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the Council,.
