ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS THERETO.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana:
Section 1
That the following described territory contiguous
to the incorporated City of South Bend, in St. Joseph
County, Indiana, to-wit:
The North Half (1/2) of the South West Quarter
(1/4) of Section Twenty (20) in Township Thirty —
seven (37) North, Range Three (3) East, contain-
ing Eighty (80) acres more or less, subject to
all legal highways.
be and the same is hereby annexed to said City of South Bend,
all of which said contiguous territory shall hereafter form
a part of the said City of South Bend and be within its
jurisdiction, and said territory is hereby consolidated with
and made a part of the said City of South Bend.
Section 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and
legal publication.

After due consideration the Commission found
that in their opinion the six determinants of
annexation apply to the area in issue. It was
therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended favorably
to the Council.
