BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended
and supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and
supplemented by zoning as "D" Light Industrial Use and "F"
Height and Area District the following described property:
Beginning at a point on the north right -of -way line of
Edison Road 596.2 feet west of the centerline of Hickory
Road, thence north a distance of 1290 feet, more or lest
thence west a distance of 594 feet, more or less, thence
south a distance of 1290 feet, more or less, to the
said north right -of -way line of Edison Road, thence
east a distance of 594 feet, more or less, to the
place of beginning.
Section 2:
This Grdinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS
HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED ( Land on Edison approximately 600 feet
west of Hickory)
Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
zone "D" Light Industrial Use and "F" Height and Area
District the recently annexed land being generally described
as a parcel of land 594 feet east and west by 1290 feet
north and south fronting on Edison Road and being 596.2
feet west of Hickory Road was legally advertised. under date
of September 24, 1962 and given public hearing on October
41 1962. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that
the best zoning for the area would be light industrial.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried. that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
