AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Section 23 -(c) of Ordinance No. 3702, (as amended),
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South
Bend, Indiana be amended by the addition thereto of the
following: Failure of the City Council to pass such proposed
ordinance by said affirmative vote within ninety (90) days
after its rejection by the plan commission shall constitute
rejection of the proposed ordinance and it shall not be
reconsidered by the Planning Commission or the City Council
until the expiration of one (1) year after date of its original
rejection by the Plan Commission.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

Planning Commission to amend Section 23 -(c) of Ordinance
No. 3702, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, was legally advertised under date of September
23, 1963 and given public hearing on October 3, 1963•
The following action was taken:
After due consideration it was duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
proposed amendment be recommended favorably
to the Council.
