AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
COMMONLY KNO14N AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Section 23 -(d) of Ordinance No. 3702,(as amended),
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South
Bend, Indiana be amended so that same shall be and read as
follows:
(d) One hundred and twenty (120) days after report of
the Plan Commission to the Council favoring a change or
amendment, the change or amendment shall have the same effect
as all other ordinances, unless the City Council has within
that time finally acted upon it.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

Gentlemen:
The attached proposed ordinance originated by the City
Planning Commission to amend Section 23 —(d) of Ordinance
No. 3702, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, was legally advertised under date of September
23, 1963 and given public hearing on October 3, 1963. The
following action was taken:
After due consideration it was duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
proposed amendment be recommended favorably
to the Council.
