AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 1 -25 inclusive and Lots 29 -53 inclusive of
Lincoln Park Sub., Lots 54 -78 inclusive, Lots 85-
134 inclusive, Lots 141 -190 inclusive and Lots 200-
224 inclusive of Lincoln Park 2nd Plat, being more
generally described as bounded on the east by the
first north -south alley east of Kenmore Street, on
the west by the first north -south alley west of
Chicago Street, on the north by the first east -west
alley south of Western Avenue, and on the south by
Ford Street.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and le .-al
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as being bounded
on the east by the first north -south alley east of
Kenmore Street, on the west by the first north -south alley
west of Chicago Street, on the north by the first east -
west alley south of Western Avenue, and on the south by
Ford Street was legally advertised under date of September
23, 1963 an& given public hearing on October 3, 1963•
The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the area would be
"A" Residential. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the Council.
