FREDA G. NOBLE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
CITY. CLERK -SOUTH BEND, IND,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 160 -190 inclusive, Lots 137 -147 inclusive of
Belle Village Section "A ", Lots 112 -136 inclusive,
Lots 148 -159 inclusive of Belle Village Section "B ",
Lots 66 -111 inclusive of Belle Village Section "C ",
Lots 2 -37 inclusive of Belle Village Section "D ",
Lots 38 -47 inclusive and Lot 1 of Belle Village Section
"ET', and Lots 48 -65 inclusive of Belle Village, being
more generally described as bounded on the east by
the rear lot line east of Kenmore Street, on the west
by Sheridan Street, on the north by Ford Street, and
on the south by the first east -west alley north of
Sample Street.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
the property generally described as being bounded on the
east by the rear lot line east of Kenmore Street, on the
west by Sheridan Avenue, on the north by Ford Street, and
on the south by the first east —west alley north of Sample
Street.was legally advertised under date of August 26,_1963
and given public hearing on September 5, 1963. The following
action was taken: .
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the subject area would
be "A" Residential. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition
be recommended favorably to the Council.
