AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from "B" Residential Use and "B" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 750 -759 inclusive of Part 2 of Section 7 Belle-
ville Unit "B ", Lots A -V inclusive of Belleville Unit
"B" Section 1 replat of Lots 523 -534 inclusive and
Lot 541, Lots 535 -540 inclusive of Belleville Unit
"B" Section 7 and Lots 192 -206 inclusive of Belleville
Unit "A" Section 5 being more generally described
as bounded on the east by the first north -south alley
west of Gladstone, on the west by Lombardy Drive, on
the north by the rear property line north of Huron
Street and on the south by Ford Street.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "B" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as bounded on
the east by the first north -south alley west of Gladstone,
on the west by Lombardy Drive, on the north Oy the rear
property line -north of Huron Street and on the south by
Ford Street was legally advertised under date of August
26, 1963 and given public hearing on September 5, 1963.
The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
"A" Residential zoning to be in the best interest
of the subject property. It was therefore duly
moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the Council.
