ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from the existing Zoning and Height and Area District
to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District:
Lots 57 -61 and 77 -90 inclusive of Citizen Home Co's
Re -plat of Lots 56 -62 and 79 -87 inclusive of Shively's
Addition, including Lots 63 -76, 109 -124, 131 -146,
183 -213, excluding lots 203 and 204, 241 -268, and 272
299 inclusive all a part of D. M. Shively's Addition
also Lots 91 -96, 161 -167_, 233 -239 inclusive and Lots
300 -301 of Citizen Home Co's Re -plat of Lots 91 -97,
161 -168, 233 -240, 300 -307 and 361 -364 in Shively's
Addition including Lots 1 -46 inclusive of Part of
Citizen's Home Co. 5th Re -plat and including Lots 8,
9, 27 -30, 49 -51, 63, 94 -97 inclusive of South Bend
and Gary Land Co's Revised Plat, being generally
described as being bounded on the east by the first
north -south alley west of Franklin Street, on the west
by Kendall Street, on the north by the first east -
west alley north of Calvert Street, and on the south
by Ewing Avenue.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from the existing zoning and height and area District
to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
the property generally described as being bounded on the
east by the first north -south alley west of Franklin Street,
on the west by Kendall Street, on the north by the first
east -west alley north of Calvert Street and on the south
by Ewing Avenue was legally advertised under date of
April 22, 1963 and given public hearing on May 2, 1963•
