AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ($32,000.00) TO THE STREET DEPARTMENT IN THE PURCHASE OF STREET AND ALLEY MATERIALS; SAID ($32,000.00) TO BE A TRANSFER FROM FUND S -264 INTO FUND S•421. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. The sum of Thirty -Two Thousand ($32,000.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated to the Street Department for the pur- pose of purchasing street and alley materials and said Thirty - Two Thousand ($32,000.00) Dollars is to be deposited in Fund S -421 for said purpose. Said sum to be obtained and trans- ferred from Street Department Fund S -264, Sealing of Street Contractual, where it was heretofore appropriated for use in contracting for the sealing of streets and which said sum will not now be needed for such purpose. SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory require- ments of emergency appropriations.
