AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE No. ? 7 Z�— ,
AS HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED
(Ironwood Drive between Mishawaka Avenue & Vine Street)
BE IT ORDAINED by The Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana:
That Zoning Ordinance No. �-5 20;9--, as before
amended and supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended
and supplemented by zoning "C- Commercial" use and "A" Hieght
and Area District, the following described property:
A lot or parcel of land 20 feet in width
North and South, taken off of and from
the entire length of the North side of Lot
Numbered 3, as shown on the original Plat
of the Town of River Park, now a part of
the City of South Bend, excepting therefrom
a strip of land 73 feet in length, East
and West, taken off of and from the entire
width of the West end of said Lot.
II.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment.

The attached petition of Martha Wappenstein, et al, to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as a parcel
of land having frontage of 20 feet on the west right —of-
way line of Ironwood Drive between Mishawaka Avenue and
Vine Street was legally advertised under date of April
27, 1964 and given public hearing on May 7, 1964. The
following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the requested zoning would be in the best
Interest of the subject area. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
