ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ($50,000.00) TO
THE STREET DEPARTMENT IN THE PURCHASE OF
STREET AND ALLEY MATERIALS; SAID ($50,000.00)
TO BE A TRANSFER FROM FUND S -12 INTO
FUND S -421.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. The sum of Fifty- Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars
is hereby appropriated to the Street Department for the
purpose of purchasing street and alley materials and said
Fifty- Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars is to be deposited
in Fund S -421 for said purpose. Said sum to be obtained
and transferred from Street Department Fund S -12, Services -
Personal Account, where.it was heretofore appropriated for
use in the payment of hourly wages and from which said sum
has now been saved by economies within the department.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect after its adoption by the Common Council of the
Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and approval by the
Mayor.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto set my hand and seal this
