ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following described
property from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 1 -31 inclusive of University Heights, being
more generally described as being bounded on the
east by Notre Dame Avenue, on the south by
Napoleon Blvd., on the north by the rear property
line, and on the west by the north -south property
line of Lot 1 of University Heights.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and
legal publication.

Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council
as favorable.

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as being bounded
on the east by Notre; Dame Avenue, on the south by Napoleon
Blvd., on the north by the rear property line, and on the
west by the north -south property line of Lot 1 of Univer-
sity Heights was legally advertised under date of February
24, 1964 and given public hearing on March 5, 1964. The
following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the predominant use in the subject area
is single - family residential. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
