AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1• That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing the zoning classificiation of the following described property from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "A' "'Height and Area District: Lot 615 in the Summit Place Third Addition to the City of South Bend (142 South Meade Street) . HUFF The attached petition of DeWitt Marshall, 134 S. Meade Street, to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area District Lot 615 Summit Place 3rd Addition, being more generally described as 142 S. Meade Street was legally advertised under date of December 30, 1963 and given public hearing on January 9, 1964. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the favorable recommendation of the petition would result in spot zoning and therefore could devaluate the surrounding property, the rezoning would confer on the owner certain rights not enjoyed by other property owners and that the sole purpose of the rezoning was to allow the erection of an auto repair garage.
