AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, , APPROPRIATING $300,000
FROM THE WATER LEAK INSURANCE FUND (#644) FOR THE PURPOSE OF
FUNDING UNANTICIPATED PRIVATE WATER LEAK REPAIRS.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
In order to meet the costs associated with unanticipated repairs to private water
lines covered by the water leak insurance fund, this ordinance is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
Section I. The sum of $300,000 is hereby appropriated within Fund #644 for
costs associated with the Water Leak Insurance Fund caused by unexpected repairs of
water lines.
Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor..
