AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS HERETOFORE
AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED
(South of Lathrop, West of Johnson and East of
Huey Streets)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended and
supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by
the zoning of the following described property as "B" Residence
District, said real estate being:
Section 2•
Lots Numbered 1 through 9 as shown on the Plat
of Hamilton Terrace, an Addition to the City of
South Bend, Indiana, and being a replat of Lots
26 and 73 of Jackson's Proposed Subdivision,
located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 34,
Township 38 North, Range 2 East, said real estate
being South of Lathrop Street, West of Johnson
Street and East of Huey Street, in the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publication.

The attached petition of Robert C. and Elsie M. Hamilton
to rezone from "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and
Area District to "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and
Area District the property being generally described as
south of Lathrop Street, west of Johnson Street and
east of Huey Street was legally advertised under date
of January 27, 1964 and given public hearing on February
61 1964. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed change is in the best interest
of the area. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the
Council.
