AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 4459 -62
BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4459 -62 be amended so
that same shall be and read as follows:
Beginning at a point at the northwest corner of the
Southeast One Quarter of the Southeast one quarter
of Section 30, T37N, R3E, thence east along the north
line of the Southeast One Quarter of the Southeast
One Quarter of said Section 30 to the west right -of-
way line of Ironwood Road, thence south along the
west right -of -way line of Ironwood Road to the south
line of said Section 30, thence west along the south
line of said Section 30 to the present city limits,
thence north along the present city limits to the
place of beginning containing 39 acres, more or less,
and being more generally described as the northwest
corner of Ironwood Road and Jackson Road.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication

It has come to my attention that there is an error in
the legal description of Ordinance No. 4459 -62 passed
by the Common Council on May 14, 1962. Attached is
an ordinance correcting this error.
