BE IT ORDAINED by the common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 4207, which Or- dinance was adopted on the 13th day of January, 1958, and which Ordinance was amended by Ordinance No. 4260, which Ordinance was adopted on the 24th day of February, 1959, be and the same is hereby adopted to read as follows: SECTION IX: For the purposes of this article the following words and phrases shall have the meaning respectively ascribed to them by this Section: "Water Service line" or ldater line" or "Main .:�rvice line ". Such terms shall mean and in- clude any pipe carrying water extending from a hater main owned and maintained by the Water Works or from a "distribution main ", as here- inafter defined, to the foundation walls of a residential building or the front walls of any commercial or industrial building. The term "distribution main ", as used herein, shall mean and include any main extending from a water main owned and maintained by the Water Works into an industrial park, shopping center, apartment house complex or similar area, and from which, at a point outside the foundation walls or front walls of any buildings, water service lines, water lines or main service lines are extended to the foundation walls or front walls of any buildings to provide water service to users. SECTION II.
