AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be
and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District:
Lots 12 -18 inclusive of Fowlers 1st Sub of BOL 85
and 86, Lots 19- 25.inclusive and Lots 31 -39 inclusive
2 z of Fowlers 2nd Sub of B.O.L. 85 and 86, also Lots
CDo 39 -46 inclusive and 51 -58 inclusive of Commissioners
4: O= z Sub of B.O.L. 85 and 86, Lots 9 -48 inclusive of Baker's
m m Sub of BO.L. 87, Lots 1 -18 inclusive of Evan's Sub.
of B.O.L. 88, Lots 11 -20 inclusive of Stanfields Sub.

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as being bounded
on the North by the East - [Jest alley South of Washington
Street, on the East by Laurel Street, on the South by
Napier Street and on the West by Walnut Street was legally
advertised under date of September 21, 1964.and given
public hearing on October 1. The following action was
taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the subject area. It was there-
fore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended
favorably to the Council.
