AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" and "B" Height and Area
District to "All Residential Use and "All Height and Area District:
Lots 93 -99 inclusive of Replat of Part of White -
man's lst Addition; Lots 5, 6, 7, 100, 101, 1022
103, 111, 112; 113, 204- 2O7,inclusive of Highland
Park Replat; Lots 68 -92 inclusive and Lots 107 -131
inclusive of Whitemants 1st Addition, also Lots
8 -30 inclusive 77 -99 inclusive, 114 =136 inclusive,
also Lots 181 -203 inclusive of Highland Park and
Lots 36 -63 inclusive of South Bend Industrial
Addition; more generally described as bounded on
the North-by Indiana Avenue, on the East by Brook-
field Street, on the South by Calvert Street, and
on the West by the North -South alley West of
Carlisle Street.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission
to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" and "B"
Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and
"A" Height and Area District the property generally
described as bounded on the North by Indiana Avenue,
on the East by Brookfield Street, on the South by
Calvert Street and on the West by the North -South
alley West of Carlisle Street was legally advertised
under date of July 27, 1964 and given public hearing
on August 6, 1964. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed rezoning would be in the
best interest of the subject area. It was
therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended
favorably to the Council.
