HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning - Lots bounded on the North by Napoleon Blvd, East by St Louis Blvd, South by Corby StORDINANCE No. 4675 - -64 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, 27 Clerk c� President of Common Council Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Approved and signed by 31 Clerk IDEAL afff&PRESS i ORDINANCE N0. 6 ,5 - -G� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1: That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing the zoning classifidation of the following described property from "B" Residential Use and "AI' and "B" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District: All of Kirby Hartman and Millers Sub of Sorin's 2nd Addition, All of E. D. Shenefields Sub., all of Poplar Sub., all of E. Fogart Sub of Lot 149 Sorin's 2nd Addition, also Lot 148 of Sorin's 2nd Addition to the Town of Lowell, and Lots 145 and 144 of Part of Sorin's 2nd Addition; more generally described as bounded on the North by Napoleon Blvd., on the East by St. Louis Blvd., on the.South by Corby Street and St. Vincent Street, and on the West by Hill Street and the 2nd north -south alley west of Lawrence Street. (Bounded on the North by Napoleon Blvd., on the East bysSt. Louis Blvd., on the .South by Corby St, and St. Vincent St., and on the West by Hill Street and the 2nd north - south alley west of Lawrence St.) Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion Council as favorable. this ordinance be reported to the �` "�°J�Chairman July 6, 1964 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" and "B" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally bounded on the North by Napoleon Blvd., ow the East by St. Louis Blvd., on the South by Corby Street and St. Vincent Street, and on the West by Hill Street and the 2nd north -south alley west of Lawrence Street was legally advertised under date of June 22, 1964 and given public hearing on July 2, 1964. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would be in the best interest of the subject area.
