AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section It
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" HeiPt -arid Area District to
"A" Residential Use and "A "�ht and Area District:
All of Walnut 3,r&-Addition, all of United Builders
Inc. Replat is 61 -109 inclusive and Lots 122 -143
inclusive,—o', Walnut 2nd Addition, Lots 4, 5 and 6
of Replat of Part of Whiteman's 1st Addition, and
Lots 8 -32 inclusive of Whiteman's 1st Addition, also
a rectangular piece of land adjacent to Lot 61 of
Walnut 2nd Addition, approximately 195 feet by 124
feet; being more generally described as bounded on
the North by Indiana Avenue, on the East by the north -
south alley East of Nash Street, on the South by
Calvert Street, and on the [Jest by Brookfield Street.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
the property generally bounded on the North by Indiana
Avenue, on the East by the north -south alley East of Nash
Street, on the South by Calvert Street, and on the West
by Brookfield Street was legally advertised under date of
June 22, 1964 and given public hearing on July 2, 1964.
The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the predominant use of the subject area
is single family residential. It was there-
fore duly moved, seconded and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended
favorably to the Council.
