AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District:
Lots 36 -41 inclusive and Lots 47 -51 inclusive of Part
of Byerly's Addition, being more generally described
as bounded on the North by the first east -west alley
south of Indiana Avenue, on the East by Kemble Avenue,
on the South by Dubail Avenue, and on the :lest by the
first north -south alley East of Prairie Avenue.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally bounded on the North by
the first east —west alley south of Indiana Avenue, on
the East by Kemble Avenue, on the South by Dubail Avenue,
and on the West by the, first north —south alley East of
Prairie Avenue was legally advertised under date of June
22, 1964 and given public hearing on July 2, 1964, The
following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the subject area. It was there-
fore duly moved, seconded and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended
favorably to the Council.
