AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $76,401.17
FROM THE BARRETT LAW FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND.
WHEREAS: Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget, for the various functions of city government
to meet such extraordinary emergencies:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. Whereas the Barrett Law Fund has an unencumbered
and unobligated balance of $76,401.17 not needed to meet Barrett
Law obligations, said sum is hereby transferred to the General
Fund of the City of South Bend and the Barrett Law Fund balance
reduced by that amount.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements
of emergency appropriations and transfers nn,�%�� QQ
