Chairperson Kirsits called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
BILL NO.08-69 -SPECIAL EXCEPTION FOR ACCESSORY PARKING LOT AT 1129 N. ST.
LOUIS
Chairperson Kirsits opened the meeting by asking Mark Lyons of the Building Department for a
BZA report. Mark stated that the BZA gave a unanimous favorable recommendation to Council.
Mr. Rob Martin of the Barr Design Group representing the petitioner testified the lot would not be
used for football weekend parking allaying any concerns of the neighbors who may have
wondered.
Alvena Harris and Mary Ann Cain both parishioners of the petitioning church spoke in favor of the
exception.
On a motion by Councilmember Tom Lafountain, seconded by Councilmember Varner the bill is
sent to Council with a favorable recommendation.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Chairperson Kirsits adjourned
the meeting at 3:09 p.m.
