AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That the following described property in St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought
within the City of South Bend, Indiana:
A tract of land situtated in Section 30, T37N,
R3E, described as beginning at a point on the
present city limits 1477.8 feet North and 40
feet East of the Southwest corner of said Section
30; thence South along a line parallel to and 40
feet East of the 'lest line of said Section 30 a
distance of 668.8 feet, thence East 1747.41 feet
to the present City Limits, thence North 665.7
feet along the present city limits, thence West
1747.41 feet along the present city limits to the
place of beginning, containing an area of 26.6
acres, more or less, and begin contigious with
the present City Limits along the entire northern
And eastern border.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.
