AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District:
Lots 1 -7 inclusive of Geyers Subdivision, Lots
5 -17 inclusive of Yoder's Survey; Lots 1 -12
inclusive and 21-82 inclusive of South Side
Addition; Lots 8 -42 inclusive, 57 -92 inclusive
and Lot "A" of Kelsey's Ewing Avenue Addition;
Lots 1 -24 inclusive of Starr's Subdivision,
generally described as bounded on the East by
Twyckenham Drive, on the North by Calvert Street,
on the [lest by Leer Street, and on the South by
Ewing Avenue.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as bounded by
Calvert Street on the North, by Twyckenham Drive on the
East, Ewing Avenue on the South, and Le r Street on the
West, was legally advertised under dategebruary 12, 1965
and given public hearing on February 23, 1965. The
following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the predominant use in the subject area
is single family residential. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council,
