BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning classification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District:
Lots 105 -126 inclusive of Oak Park 3rd Plat, Lots
10 -50 inclusive of Miami Addition, Lots 154 -175
inclusive and Lots 182 -191 inclusive of South East
2nd Addition; being more generally described as
parcels of land bounded on the East by the first
north -south alley West of Marine Street and by
Mumford Court, on the West by the first north -south
alley East of Miami, on the South by the first east -
west alley South of Bowman Street and on the North
by Indiana Avenue.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "A -1" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District the property generally described as being bounded
on the East by the first north -south alley West of Marine
Street and by Mumford Court, on the West by the first
north -south alley East of Miami, on the South by the first
east -west alley South of Bowman Street and on the North
by Indiana Avenue was legally advertised under date of
January 25, 1965 and given public hearing on February 4,
1965. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the subject area. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
