AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702.
ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ON THE 13TH DAY OF JUNE,
1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1, That Ordinance No, 3702 adopted by the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 13th day of June, 1949,
more commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend,
as thereafter amended and as adopted and codified October 14, 1963, be
amended by the re- zoning of a certain parcel of land located in the City
of South Bend, St, Joseph County, State of Indiana, more particularly
described as follows:
Lot Numbered 10 excepting therefrom a lot or parcel
of land 30 feet in width, East and West, taken off
of and from the entire length of the East side of said
lot, and all of Lots Numbered 11 and 12 as shown on
the Recorded Plat of Vogtts Addition to the City of
South Bend„
from "B" Residence District and "B" Height and Area District to "C"
Commercial District and. "C" Height and Area District,
Section 2, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and signing by the Mayor,

The attached petition of William and Dorothy Krill to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "B" Height and Area
District to "C" Commercial Use and "C" Height and Area
District the property generally described as the Northwest
corner of Ardmore Trail and Bendix Drive was legally
advertised under date of October 26, 1969 and given public
hearing on November 5, 1964. The following action was
taken:
After due consideration the Commissinn found
that the requested zoning would be in the best
interest of subject area. It was therefore
duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
