AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE N0, 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing
the zoning cl c ssification of the following described property
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"C" Commercial Use and "C" Height and Area District:
Lots 4 -9 inclusive of Vogt's lst.Addition to the
City of South Bend, Indiana, being generally described
as the six lots fronting on the west side of Bendix
Drive between Lincoln Way West and Ardmore Trail.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone frofi "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District to "C" Commercial Use and "C" Height and Area
District the six lots fronting on the west side of Bendix
Drive between Lincoln Way West and Ardmore Trail was
legally advertised under date of December 28, 1964 and
given public hearing on January 7, 1965. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the subject area and the urban area.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and
carried (8 ayes, 1 nay) that the petition be
recommended favorably to the Council.
