ORDINANCE NO. 4797 -65
ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PROPERTIES
ACCOUNT OF THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES DE-
PARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $270.00.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to
meet such extraordinary contingencies; and
WHEREAS, Additional properties, testing equipment is urgently
needed by the Weights and Measures Department to assure its
ability to properly perform its function and the sum of $270.00
is needed forthwith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT- RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $270.00 be appropriated from
the General Fund to Account R -726 designated as Properties, Other
Equipment (Testing).
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
