AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE AWARDING
OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND
CITY WATER WORKS TO INTERNATIONAL
BUSINESS MACHINES � CORPORATION FOR
THE PURCHASE OF TWO 6400 MAGNETIC
COMPUTING ACCOUNTING MACHINES IN THE
SUM OF $77,790.00.
WHEREAS, International Bust *ess Machines, Corporation has
tendered to the South Bend City Water Works its bid for the sale
of two 6400 Magnetic Computing Accounting Machines in the sun of
Seventy -seven thousand seven - hundred ninety ($77,790.00) Dollars
to the South Bend City Water Works which bid was accepted by the
Board of Water Works Commissioners of the City of South Bend,
December 8, 1964.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SO`.TH
BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the.entry into a contract between the South
Bend City Water Works and the International Business Machines,
Corporation for the purchase of two 6400 Magnetic Computing
Accounting Machines in the sun of Seventy -seven thousand seven -
hundred ninety ($77.790.00) Dollars is hereby approved.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
frog and after its adoption by the Common Council of the Civil
City of South Bend, Indiana and approval by the Mayor.
