ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS
($102000.00) TO THE STREET DEPARTMENT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF STREET AND ALLEY MATERIALS; SAID
TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($102000.00) TO BE A TRANS-
FER FROM ACCOUNT S12 INTO ACCOUNT S4219 ALL BEING
IN THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I.
The sun of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is hereby
appropriated to the Street Department for the purpose of purchasing street
and alley materials and said Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) is to be
appropriated to account 5421 for said purpose. Said sum to be obtained
and transferred from Street Department account S12, Services Personal
Account, where it was heretofore appropriated for use in the payment of
hourly wages and from which said sun has now been saved by economies
within the department.
SECTION II.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Coomon Council, its approval by the Mayor and
the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
