ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN
ADDITIONAL $1,200.00 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO THE BUILDING
DEMOLITION, REPAIR AND CON -
TINGENEY FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have
developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so
that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was
appropriated in the annual budget, for the various functions
of City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies; and,
SECTION II. WHEREAS, Additional funds are urgently needed
by the Building Department to assure its ability to properly
perform itS function arrlthe sum of One Thousand Two hundred
($1,200.00) Dollars is needed forthwith; and
SECTION III. WHEREAS, Sufficient uneomitted funds remain
in the General Fund out of which said appropriations can be made,
there is hereby appropriated from the Fund the sum of
One thousand Two - hundred ($1,200.00) Dollars to the Building
Demolition, Repair and Contingency Fund.
SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall be in full force and e-
ffect from and after it s passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements of emergency
