Chairperson LaFountain called the meeting to order at 4:20 p.m., and introduced Chuck Clark,
Business Licensing Manager, reported six (6) scrap dealers applied for operating licenses, 3 of
which were renewals. One applicant did not have the required surveillance camera. This license
could be issued with restrictions pending compliance. It was noted Councilmember Oliver J.
Davis was touring each of the scrap yard sites.
Councilmember AI "Buddy" Kirsits motioned and Councilmember Oliver J. Davis followed
subsequently approved by all that 08-76 be recommended favorably with the follow-up
requirement suggested by Chuck Clark.
There being no further business to come before the committee, Chairperson Tom LaFountain,
adjourned the meeting at 4:41 p.m.
