Drumming up new homes for animals!
South Bend Animal Care and Control will host the Petsmart National Adopt-A-Thon this
Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, at Erskine Village, 1290 E. Ireland Rd, South Bend,
IN, 46614. Event hours are Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
The event will be held outside of the store and will include several animal rescue groups
and other area shelters including Paws Purrs with Impact, Pet Refuge, and many more. There will
be many wonderful pets of all ages and sizes that are looking for a home and are available for
adoption.
At 1pm RhythmWorks! will present a rhythm circle. Bring a lawn chair and any percussion
instrument and participate in drumming for the animals!
The community is encouraged to come out and join in the fun and celebrate finding
abandoned pets their new forever homes! Don’t miss it, you may find your new best friend!
