AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING South by Ewing Ave.
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be
and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by changing the
zoning classification of the following described property from
"B" Residential Use and "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and
Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District:
Lots 1 -168 inclusive of Ewing Park Addition, being
more generally described as being bounded on the
East by Ironwood Drive, on the West by Sampson
Street, on the North by Bowman Street and on the
South by Ewing Avenue.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The Honorable Common Council
City of South Bend,;
South Bend, Indiana
Gentlemen:
The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
rezone from "B" Residential Use and "C" Commercial Use and
"A" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and
"A" Height and Area District the property generally described
as being bounded on the East by Ironwood Drive, on the
West by Sampson Street, on the North by Bowman Street,
and on the South by Ewing Avenue was legally advertised
under date of May 24, 1965 and given public hearing on
June 3, 1965. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the area. It was therefore duly
moved, seconded, and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to
the Council.
