AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be
and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by zoning the
following described property "A" Residential Use and "A" Height
and Area District:
An irregularly shaped tract of land situated partially
In Section 30 and partially in Section 31, T37N, R3E,
described as beginning at a point on the present city
limits 760 feet South and 40 feet East of the North-
west corner of Section 31, thence North 1413 feet on
C� \) a line parallel to and 40 feet East of the West lines
of Sections 30 and 31 to a point 653 feet North and 40
feet East of the Southwest corner of Section 30, thence
5.6 s East 1012.56 feet on a line parallel to and 653 feet

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
an irregularly shaped tract of land generally described as
f lying East of Miami Road near Jackson Road and abutting the
!city limits on its southern boundary was legally advertised
under date of August 23, 1965 and given public hearing on
September 2, 1965. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would conform to the
use to which the property is being put and
allow for its further development. It was
therefore moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by
Mr. West and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the
Council.
