ORDINANCE NO.
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
Section I. Ordinance No. 3702, being the zoning ordinance of
the City of South Bend, be, and the same hereby is amended so that the
zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of
South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiam , to wit:
Lots Numbered Twenty -five (25) and twenty -six
(26) as shown on the recorded plat of Mayris
Michigan Avenue Addition to the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
be and the same is hereby changed from "B" Residence District and "A"
Height and Area District to "C" Commercial District and "B" Height and
Area District.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, approved by the'Mayor and
Legal Publication.

The attached petition of Charles and Pauline Menyhart to rezone
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to
"C" Commercial Use and "B" Height and Area District Lots 25 and
26 as shown on the recorded plat of Mayr's Michigan Avenue
Addition, being generally described as 1010 and 1012 N. Olive
Street was legally advertised under date of August 23, 1965 and
given public hearing on September 2, 1965. The following action
was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that the
proposed zoning would be in the best interest of the
subject property. It was therefore moved by Mr. West,
seconded by Mr. Kromkowski and unanimously carried
that the petition be recommended favorably to the
Council.
