AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 3702
COWAONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
RADIO
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana;
Section I Ordinance No, 3702, being the zoning
ordinance of the City of South Bend, be, and the same hereby is.
amended so that the zoning classification of the following
described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph
County, Indiana, to -wit:
"Lot Numbered 10, Lot Numbered 11, and all of
Lot Numbered 12 except the North ten (10) feet
thereof in John E. Vdalz' revised addition to the
City of South Bend, Indiana,"
be, and the same is hereby changed from "B" Residence District
and "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial District
and "E" Height and Area District,
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
approved by the Mayor, and Legal Publication.

The attached petition of Myron D. Walz, et al, to rezone
from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
to "C" Commercial Use and "E" Height and Area District
Lot 11, 10 and all of 12 except the North 10 feet thereof
in John E. Walz,revised addition to the City of South
Bend, begin generally described as the west side of the
3400 block S. Michigan Street was legally advertised under
date of August 23, 1965 and given public hearing on
September 2, 1965• The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the proposed zoning would be in the best
interest of the subjeet property and would have
no adverse effect on the surrounding property.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and
unanimously carried that the petition be recom-
mended favorably to the Council.
