AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT AND
LEASE BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ST. JOSEPH,
INDIANA, AND THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.

SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority set forth in the Acts of the
Indiana General Assembly for the year 1947, Chapter 21, that
certain Contract and Lease Agreement entered into by and between
the County of St. Joseph, Indiana, acting by and through its Board
of County Commissioners and the City of South Bend, Indiana,
acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, which
said Contract and Lease Agreement was entered into on the 8th day
of November, 1965, and is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by reference to the some extent as if it
were fully recited herein, is hereby approved and confirmed.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor and after
the enactment of a substantially similar ordinance by the County
Council of St. Joseph County, Indiana, and shall thereafter
constitute a binding contract for the purposes indicated therein.
