THE SURPLUS IN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY
FUND TO ACCT, MVH 726 -OTHER EQUIPMENT.

WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget of 1966 for the various functions of city
government to meet such extraordinary contingencies:
Section I. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana that for the expenses of the City
Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31,
1966 there is hereby appropriated from surplus in the Motor
Vebicle Highway Fund to Account MVH 726 -Other Equipment, the
sum of $1600.00 the same being in the surplus in the Motor
Vehicle Highway Fund.
