AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
FROM THE FAIR. EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES COk,94ISSION
FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $150.00 TO ACCOUNT 214
TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH, IN SAID FUND.
idHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it
is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appro-
priated in the annual budget for the various functions of
City government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend
Human Relations and Fair Employment Practices Commission for
telephone and telegraph expenses to assu re its ability to
properly perform its functions; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA°
SECTION Is That the sum of $150.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated from the Fair Employment Practices
Commission Fund to Account 214 Telephone and Telegraph, in
said fund.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
