AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
TO ACCOUNT NO. L- 321,GASOLINE, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $250.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM
ACCOUNT L -213, TRAVELING EXPENSES, ALL BEING
IN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet
such extraordinary contingencies; and
WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the
purpose for which appropriated.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That there is hereby appropriated to the Gasoline
Account of the Engineering Department, being Account No. L -321; the
sum of $250.00 and said sum to be transferred to said Account from
the Travel Allowance Account of said Engineering Department, being
Account L -213, all in the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by
the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of
emergency appropriations.
